It would appear that bus service 29 was not terminated after all and it now actually starts here in Montgomerie Park.

Sorry for the slow update as I know a lot of folk already use the service.

Any more details on the No 30 service?

My son will be wanting to take the bus on Monday but we don’t know times or cost.

I phoned the Ayr number above who knew nothing about it and passed me on to Ardrossan. They knew nothing about it and passed me on to Kilmarnock who are not answering the phone! This was all yesterday, Jan 8th, 3 days before the new service starts!

Would be really great-full if anyone has any information!

    Thanks

I went into the office in Irvine yesterday and they have timetables. There is a bus at 0815 which will go straight to Greenwood and one at 1535 at Greenwood which will come straight back up (both via the town). I asked where they would get the bus and was told that it would be where the no 29 bus used to go (even though the timetable says Montgomerie Park!). From this I took it that the bus will be leaving from the bus stop at the BP garage.
The cheapest ticket option is a weekly Megarider which costs £6.50 per week and is valid on all Irvine buses. Hope this helps

Got beging letter from NAC this morning too, no intention of paying this charge. Ive also a good mind to not pay my council tax this month either as the roads and pavements have been an absolute disgrace for the last 3 weeks. Has anyone saw a gritter or snow plough near our estate?
